Reading Logs are to be filled out and signed NIGHTLY. Many students have lost theirs, so please either write down book title, pages read, minutes spent reading, and a brief summary of reading on notebook paper or in planner. These are for a grade and are part of GSE's requirement that all students spend time each night reading. For each location, keep them on the Return side of the 'take-home' folder so I can check them off daily.
Students are doing a GREAT job getting their planners signed. I ask that you encourage your child to come to YOU instead of you coming to him/her. This helps your student practice responsibility and accountability that we are working hard to maintain and instill within him/her so that he/she may be an organized lifelong learner. :)
