Good Monday afternoon folks! Happy February! My oh my is it frigid out there today! Brutal I tell ya! I hope each of you had a great weekend :) How about that nail biter of a game last night?! It was definitely a good game to watch!

From now until Terra Nova testing we will be really focusing on test taking strategies for each subject for 5th grade. We want our students to feel prepared for the tests coming up in March. Below you can find what we did today and if there are any new announcements...
LANGUAGE ARTS: Today some of us worked in our reading groups. Everyone worked on their Young Authors story & worked on an inference example on the recent weather. Final drafts for Young Authors are due Thursday so we have been working super hard to work through the whole writing process.
HOMEWORK: Read daily :)
SCIENCE: Today we took our Governor's Cup Tests.
HOMEWORK: Test Friday.
SOCIAL STUDIES: Today we took our Governor's Cup Tests.
HOMEWORK: Print the Guided Notes from Edmodo & bring to class Wednesday.
MATH: Today we took our Governor's Cup Tests.
HOMEWORK: NONE.
RELIGION: Today we read from our Family Life books & looked at our homework from the weekend.
HOMEWORK: Unit 1 review in our Family Life book questions due Wednesday. Test Friday.
