2.24.15 DAY ONE HUNDRED AND NINETEEN



Happy shinny Tuesday afternoon kiddos! I hope you all had an EXCELLENT resource day today :) Not a lot of news to report for today...but there are a few reminders of what's going on for the rest of the week below. Don't forget to sign up for PTS Conferences with your homeroom teachers on Sycamore. They start tomorrow after school and carry onto Thursday morning. There will be NO SCHOOL Thursday or Friday :) 



LANGUAGE ARTS: I CAN...find inferences in text. I CAN... write a memior. Today weturned in the rest of our Snow Day Assignments.
HOMEWORK: Read for 30 minutes :) Reading logs due by Friday mornings.

SCIENCE:
HOMEWORK: 


SOCIAL STUDIES:
HOMEWORK: Test March 2 & Mississippi Projects due Wednesday.


MATH: I CAN...review Chapter 4. Today we turned in the rest of our Snow Day Assignments.
HOMEWORK: Test Reviews questions in textbook p.161-162 (all problems). Test Wednesday. Simple Solutions 5 & 6 due Wednesday.

HOMEWORK: Test Wednesday & all snow day assignments due Wednesday.


**Reminders:

  • Fish Fry's are on Friday's during Lent :)
  • Make sure you sign up for PTS Conferences via Sycamore with your HOMEROOM teacher (Conferences are next Wednesday, Feb. 25th, from 3:00-8:00 p.m. and Thursday, Feb. 26th, from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. There will be no school on Thursday or Friday.)
  • Due to the number of snow days, we will be pushing back the end of the trimester to March 6th. Report cards will be available via Sycamore on Monday, March 9th.
  • Science Field Trip is Tuesday, March 3...we will be back to school in time for lunch this day (students may wear P.E. clothes).
  • Terra Nova Testing begins the week of March 9
