1.23.15 DAY ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY



WOOHOO IT'S FRIDAY!! This week felt like a 5 day week ha! Thanks for the parents who came to Coffee House this morning...that was really neat to see it in action! Today in Language Arts we focused on the subject of bullying & made Apps to go on our iPhone for anti-bullying. Both classes did an excellent job on them & they are now for everyone to see in our hallway...check it out below! Next week starts Catholic Schools Week which is always exciting! There will be lots of things going on throughout the week & I look forward to being a part of them for the first time @ SMA! Friday folders are also coming home today as well :)

INTRODUCING...THE NEW IPHONE 5S+!!


LANGUAGE ARTS: Today we focused on the topic of bullying. We listed adjectives that go along with the word "bully" and "buddy". The students worked with their table groups on making a "Anti-bullying App" for our iPhone 5S+! 
HOMEWORK: NONE.


SCIENCE: Today we worked on our Guided Notes for Chapter 10.
HOMEWORK: NONE.

SOCIAL STUDIES: Today we looked over our quizzes together that we completed.
HOMEWORK:Test Monday, January 26

MATH:Today we focused on writing fractions in lowest terms.
HOMEWORK: NONE.


RELIGION: Today we looked more into our Family Life books.
HOMEWORK: NONE.


**Reminders:



  • Trivia night for athletics is this Saturday, January 24.
  • Catholic Schools Week is next week and a lot of things are going on for it for next week:

    1. Tuesday @ 8 AM is the school wide Spelling Bee.
    2. Wednesday is "Red, White, & Blue" dress day to honor our Nation.
    3. Friday is Spirit wear day.
    4. Saturday/ Sunday students wear their uniforms to mass to be honored.
                                                 

    I hope those who are still sick feel better this weekend & hopefully we will see you all back Monday! Happy birthday to Kayla Yount this weekend as well!! Stay warm, enjoy your family & friends, & come ready to learn on Monday :)
